Novo licenses Nanexa’s PharmaShell for long-acting injectables
Novo signed a $1.33 billion licensing agreement for global rights to use Nanexa’s PharmaShell drug-delivery technology, which coats drug particles to control their release, across up to five long-acting injectable programs in obesity, type 2 diabetes and other cardiometabolic disease. Nanexa’s shares rose more than 150% at the open in Stockholm before paring to about 114%.
